The Cochecton Preservation Society is hosting a 12th Coffee, Tea and History, “Civil War & Native American Artifacts of the Delaware River Valley”, Sunday, September 23rd, 1:00PM at the Cochecton Train Station, 8537 Rt. 97. *Rain or shine.

Guest speakers, Richard Justus and John Rudy will present their beautiful displays and narrative of Civil War and American Indian artifacts collected over the past 25 years in the Delaware River Valley.   Pictured above is a sampling of their preserved historical artifacts. They will tell how they became interested in metal detecting for artifacts plus share the story and timelines. Attendees are welcome to bring an item for Rich and John to identify what the artifact is from when and who. Admission and refreshments are free. Tour the oldest still standing train station that was saved from being demolished and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
