PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Cochecton, Sullivan
County, NY is requesting and will receive sealed bids for the roof replacement on
the Town Sewer Building on Olsen Road Lake Huntington, New York 12752. Bid
is to include removal of existing roof material and replace with waterproof
membrane and reroof with 29-gauge colored metal roofing all accessories to be
included. Scope of work and specifications can be obtained from the Building
Department at the Cochecton Town Hall during business hours.
Bids will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on June 27, 2023, and they will be opened at
6:30 p.m., June 28, 2023, at the recessed Town Board meeting at the Town Hall
located at 74 Smales Rd., Lake Huntington, NY 12752.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “roof bid Sewer” addressed to
Maryann Oumrim, Town Clerk, Town of Cochecton, P.O. Box 295, Lake
Huntington, NY 12752 and must bear on the face thereof the name and address of
the bidder.
No bid may be withdrawn within 30 days from the date of the bid opening.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder at or after the
recessed Town Board meeting on June 28, 2023. In the case two or more
responsible bidders submit identical bids as to price the town board may award the
contract to any such bidder.
The right is reserved to reject any and all bids.
The attention of the bidders Is particularly called to the non-collusive bid
certification, which must be provided, pursuant to Sec. 103-D of the General
Municipal Law and that section 103-A of the General Municipal Law, is hereby
considered to be part of any contract to purchase which may be entered into and
proof of NYS Workers’ Compensation coverage is hereby considered to be part of
any contract to purchase which may be entered into.
