COCHECTON FIRE DISTRICT NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION
On Tuesday, December 11, 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Cochecton Fire District will take place on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Lake Huntington Fire House located at 70 County Route 116, Lake Huntington, NY for the purpose of electing one (1) Commissioner, for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1, 2019 and ending December 31, 2023 and one (1) Commissioner to fill the unexpired term of a vacant position through December 31, 2020. All residents of the Cochecton Fire District, who have resided in the district for a period of thirty days prior to the election shall be eligible to vote.
Candidates for this office are required to file their names with the district secretary at least twenty days before the date of the election. Please hand deliver to the firehouse or mail a letter of intent to James Farrell, Secretary of the Board, Cochecton Fire District, PO Box 222, Lake Huntington, NY 12752, no later than November 22, 2018.
