Coffee, Tea & History – Cochecton Train Station

The Cochecton Preservation Society is hosting an 11th Coffee, Tea and History, Sunday, September 24th, 1:00PM at the Cochecton Train Station, 8537 Rt. 97. *Rain or shine.

Guest speakers, Ann O’Hara of Wayne County Historical Society and Sullivan County Historian, John Conway will talk about “The Civil War; Our Towns and Heroes”. Ann will share how the communities and families were affected; before, during and after. John will cover three main links to the Civil War; the Tanning Industry; Stephen Crane and the men who fought. Admission and refreshments are free.
