Town of Cochecton Planning Board
Please take notice that the Town of Cochecton Planning Board, Sullivan County, New
York State will hold a public hearing at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at
the Town Hall located at 74 Smales Road, Lake Huntington, New York for the purpose
of considering a Site Plan Approval and Issue a Special Permit for a proposed
campground on + 70 acre property upon certain lands identified as Town of Cochecton
Section 22 Block 1 Lot 6.1 in the Town consisting of 22 yurt tents, season summer use,
transient, together with a campground café and pool.
Please be advised that the project’s Application, Environmental Assessment Form, and
Site Map will be on file for review at the Town Hall located at 74 Smales Road, Lake
Huntington, NY 12752.
Interested parties are invited to attend and to give their comments.
