LEGAL NOTICE
PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Cochecton, Sullivan County, New York will hold a Public Hearing at the Town Hall, 74 Smales Road, Lake Huntington, Sullivan County, New York, on the May 12, 2021 at 7:00 p.m., for the purpose of considering an order directing removal or securing of a barn located at 71 Bernas Road, and more particularly described as Section 9, Block 2, Lot 4.4 because the building is unsafe in that it was the subject of a fire on March 21, 2021 causing the roof to be mostly collapsed and the walls to not be intact and further causing the roof and the walls to be at risk of further collapse and ordering said removal, if not performed by the owner thereof, to be performed upon order of the Town Board and the costs and expenses thereof to be assessed against the land in the same manner as a general Town tax.
