The Cochecton Youth Commission will be Skiing/Snowboarding at the Villa Roma on Friday, February 28, 2025 starting at 4:30pm. Lift ticket and rentals included.
Please text Krissy to confirm if coming by Friday at 3pm to ski/snowboard. Please bring cyc sign up forms to Villa, if not forms will be available. For more information, questions, and to confirm please contact Krissy at 845-807-8003.

OVO by Cirque du Soleil is a vibrant, energetic show that depicts the life of insects in a bustling ecosystem. The central narrative revolves around the appearance of a mysterious egg that sparks curiosity and intrigue among the insect community. The show is told through acrobatic acts, dance, and music without spoken words, showcasing the beauty and diversity of the insect world through colorful costumes and dynamic movement.
Sign-ups will be held on Monday, March 3rd, 2025, from 5:45pm to 6:15 p.m. at the Cochecton Town Hall. If you have any questions, please contact Catherine at 347-782-1098. An adult ticket is $33.50 per person. Please bring the exact change to sign up.

NOTICE OF RESOLUTION TO USE CAPITAL RESERVE FUNDS

FOR PURCHASE OF AN EVEREST 14 FOOT TRUCK BODY

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on January 2, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., at the reorganization meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Cochecton, Sullivan County, New York, the Town Board adopted a resolution to authorize the use of Capital Reserve Funds, in an amount not to exceed $140,000.00, for the purchase of an Everest 14’ SDS Dump Body with Roll Rite Electric Drive Tarp, LED Body Lights Poly Fenders, camera system with 2 cameras, and oak sideboards. .

It is hereby noted that this resolution is adopted subject to permissive referendum pursuant to Town Law section 90 Any petitions protesting against such resolution and requesting that it be submitted to the qualified electors of the Town for their approval or disapproval  must be filed with the Town Clerk within 30 days of this publication pursuant to Town Law section 91.

The Cochecton Youth Commission will be attending a West Point hockey game on February 8, 2025 at 4 PM! (Army vs. Sacred Heart) Sign-ups will be held on Monday, December 16th from 6:00 PM to 6:30PM at the Cochecton Town Hall. (Seating is limited. If you’d like your seat secured ahead please contact Sue Rodriguez via text at 845-866-0853. I will get together with you prior to collecting paperwork etc.) Adult cost is $30 at this time… price may change as event get closer. Please bring exact cash to sign-ups.
If you cannot attend sign-ups for this event, please reach out to the group coordinator at least 24 hours in advance to fill out the necessary paperwork / submit payment if needed.

WINTER ROAD CLOSURE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the following town roads in the Town of Cochecton will have no maintenance from December 2024 to April 1, 2025.  During that time there will be no Town services performed on these roads.  The closing of the roads will take effect on the date indicated or when signs are placed, signs will be removed on April 1, 2025.
