That the Town Board of the Town of Cochecton, Sullivan County, NY will receive sealed bids for stone;  crusher run, red crusher run # 2’s, 3’s, 4’s, surge stone, PA # 8 or (equivalent) PA # 6 or (equivalent) and anti-skid.   All pricing shall be in US Tons F.O.B. including pick up at the plant, delivery and trucked to Town of Cochecton Highway Garage and delivery and trucked to various sites on Town of Cochecton Roads as directed by the Highway Superintendent.  Bids will be accepted at the Office of the Town Clerk during regular business hours Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00 am – 2:00 pm at 74 Smales Road, Lake Huntington, NY  12752; until 2:00 p.m. on March 10th 2026, or they may be sent to P.O. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that I, Eileen Hennessy the Tax Collector of the Town of Cochecton, County of
Sullivan, and the State of New York, will be collecting the 2026 Town and County Taxes in the Town of
Cochecton Town Hall 74 Smales Rd, Cochecton NY 12726. Taxes will be received in my office
NEW HOURS on Tuesday 4-7, Wednesday and Thursday 2pm to 5pm and Saturdays and Sundays or
appointment. Best way to get in touch with me is by email  taxcollector@townofcochectonny.org.  If
weather is bad call first 845-932-8360 X 17.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the taxes may be paid without interest on or before (postmarked) January 31st, 2026.
AFTER JANUARY 31ST, THE FOLLOWING IS A GRADUATED INTEREST SCHEDULE.
January Par –February 1%
March 2% In addition $2 penalty will be added to your bill.
Installment payments may be paid as follows (Postmarked):
January -50% due by 1/31/2026 at 0% interest. Send “Payment #1” stub with your check.
February -25% due by 2/29/2026 at 1% interest on remaining account. Send “Payment #2 stub.
March -25% due by 3/31/2026 at 2 % interest + $2.00 unpaid notice fee.
If you did not make the January payment you cannot make payments.

The Cochecton Youth Commission will be Skiing/Snowboarding at the Villa Roma on Sunday, December 28, 2025 starting at 1:30pm.
Lift ticket and rentals included.
Please text Krissy to confirm if coming by Friday, December 26th, by 8pm to ski/snowboard.
**Online Sign up form available also, Deadline to sign up is Friday December 26th at midnight.

Monster Jam at Mohegan Sun Arena

he CYC is hosting a trip to Monster Jam at Mohegan Sun Arena Casey Plaza on Saturday, March 7th, 2026 for youth that reside in the Town of Cochecton! The show starts at 12:00pm. Join us at the Town Hall from 7:00pm-7:30pm on January 6th, 2026 to sign up in person. Out of town youth and adults are $28.50 each.
Please bring exact change. Sign ups close at 7:30 on January 6th, 2026.

📅Event Date: Sunday February 15-Monday February 16 (Presidents Day)
***Sign-Up Date: In person only for this event. January 12, 6-7 at the lower level of the Cochecton Town Hall. Please bring exact cash. All cash due at sign ups. Sign ups will close at 7pm.
Double Queen room $239 (up to 4 guests)
King bunk room: $259 (up to 5 guests)
(Plus a 49.99/room resort fee)
Admission to Aquatopia waterpark for both days is included with the room.
CYC will contribute $25/CY per room
Choose to Ski, Snowboard or Snow tube on Monday 2/16. Cost of lift ticket and rental will be covered for all Cochecton Youth. Price for adults is : $45 for a lift ticket, $40 for a rental. Snow tubing is $5 off retail-price varies, see photo in comments.
For snow tubing children 33-43 inches must ride with a partner. Over 44 inches may ride solo.
You may purchase additional activities at the group rate if desired. Please reach out to April for details.
Also available for a group rate to purchase are meal vouchers to the breakfast buffet for $22, burgers and more for $16.50, Camello’s for $16.50
