Please TAKE NOTICE

That the Town Board of the Town of Cochecton, Sullivan County, NY will receive sealed bids for blacktop Type 3 Binder (403.13), Type 6 Top (403.17) and Type 7 Top (403.18) All pricing shall be in US Tons F.O.B. including pick up blacktop at the plant, delivery and trucked to various sites on Town of Cochecton Roads as directed by the Highway Superintendent. Bids will be accepted at the Office of the Town Clerk during regular business hours Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00 am – 2:00 pm at 74 Smales Road, Lake Huntington, NY 12752; until 2:00 p.m. on April 13th, 2021 or they may be sent to P.O. Box 295, Lake Huntington, NY 12752 – phone 845/932-8360 ext 11 and they will be publicly opened and read aloud at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th day of April 2021 at the regular Town Board Meeting. Bids must bear on the face thereof the name and address of the bidder. All bids shall be from June 1, 2021, to May 31, 2022. No bid may be withdrawn within 30 days from the date of the bid opening. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder at 7:30 p.m. on 12^th day of May 2021 at the regular Town Board Meeting. In the case two or more responsible bidders submit identical bids as to price the Town Board may award the contract to any such bidder. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids. The attention of the bidders is particularly called to the non-collusive bid certification which must be provided, pursuant to Sec. 103-D of the General Municipal Law and to the hours and wages and supplements of Sec. 220 et seq. of the Labor Law and that section 103-A of the General Municipal Law and Section 220 et seq. of the Labor Law are hereby considered to be part of any contract to purchase which may be entered into. Please take notice that the Town of Cochecton Planning Board, Sullivan County, New York
State will hold a public hearing at 7:45 p.m. on May 29, 2025, at the Town Hall located at 74
Smales Road, Lake Huntington, New York for the purpose of considering the Fosterdale 4-
Corners Plaza site plan submitted by owners Joe Picone Jr. and Joe Picone III (JSP Realty
Group LLC). The property is identified by tax map number 3-3-9.1 located at the corner of
NYS Route 17B and Route 52. The project consists of (3) buildings constructed as an upper
level, a lower level and a gas station. There will be two parking lots and three driveways.
Please be advised that the project’s Application and Site Plan will be on file for review at the
Town Hall located at 74 Smales Road, Lake Huntington, N.Y. 12752.
Interested parties are invited to attend and to give their comments.

TOWN OF COCHECTON

2025 Town Clean-up Weekend

Town of Cochecton residents: May 17^th and 18^th 2025, from 9 AM – 2:45 PM. Items may be brought to the Old Town Hall, CR 116, Lake Huntington, NY.

Acceptable items include Household junk, Bulky waste (furniture, mattresses, carpets, etc.); Iron pipes must be cut to 4-foot lengths; Drums and tanks must be empty and cut open or crushed.; Paint or tar cans must be empty and dry; NO full or partially full cans of paint, NO commercial dumping. NO household garbage, NO yard waste, leaves, stumps, roots, or rocks. NO HAZARDOUS WASTES: petroleum products, pesticides, or propane tanks. NO Computers/monitors, Television sets (all display types). NO Fluorescent Bulbs/Lamps. The Town of Cochecton will be accepting 4 regular car and truck tires at no cost, cost will be $3.00 per tire after the 4^th tire. No oversized tires are allowed.

This program is made possible by the Sullivan County Legislature along with the Division of Public Works and Solid Waste and the Town of Cochecton.

NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL

PURSUANT TO REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW §506

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE ASSESSOR OF THE TOWN OF COCHECTON, County of Sullivan, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year, which will be filed on or before May 1, 2025. A copy will be available with the Town Clerk at the Town Hall 74 Smales Road Lake Huntington, NY, during normal business hours, where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until the fourth Tuesday of May. And it will be available online at www.townofcochectonny.org. and http://sullivanny.us/Departments/RealProperty

The assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll during her normal business hours and on Saturday, May 10th between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm and Wednesday, May 14th between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm by appointment only.

THE BOARD OF ASSESSMENT REVIEW WILL MEET on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, between the hours of 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm at the Cochecton Town Hall, in said town, to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments, on the written application by any person believing himself to be aggrieved. A publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the assessor’s office or online:www.tax.ny.gov

Adults will pay according to which ticket level they choose for their family:

-Field Level $65 per ticket (Highly Limited! (first come, first serve)

-Main Level $50 per ticket

-Terrace Level $40 per ticket

-Grandstand $35 per ticket

Each participant signed up will receive a $15 food / non alcoholic beverage voucher.

Sign-ups will be held on Tuesday, April 29th, 2025 from 7:00-7:30pm at the Cochecton Town Hall. Any questions please contact Catherine at (347) 782-1098. If you cannot make sign ups for this event please contact Catherine 24 hours prior to sign ups for other arrangements. (cash only) — Tickets will be purchased the morning after sign ups so we need final numbers and monies by 7:30pm on 4/29/25. No exceptions.
